agility
everything is changing so much faster right now. You can build features that took weeks in a single day using AI. Companies pivot fast and customer preferences even faster.
the only way not only to survive but to strive is to stay agile.
and the only way to stay agile is by keeping things simple.
keeping things simple required insane discipline and commitment.
naturally all systems become more complex. you have to clean the house all the time and ruthlessly say no and get rid of stuff.

get luckier
This is one of the lessons every found eventually learns.
No one can actually predict accurately how a market is going to respond to something you put out there.
Trying to be more clever, researching more, thinking long about what to do is usually a waste of time. It’s better to use the energy and time you would spend considering options to just do all of them if there is obvious best choice.
quitting entrepreneurship
a topic that’s come up a lot lately: how few people are actually built to be entrepreneurs.
tons of business influencers act like anyone can do it if you just hustle hard enough (and buy their courses).
in reality, you need a pretty weird mix of soft skills to have a real shot.
and the only way to know is to try. way too many people already say “don’t bother, you’ll fail.” that’s useless advice.
the key is being honest with yourself once you’re in it. if you find out you hate being your own boss, just stop. there’s zero shame in getting a normal job again.
plus: almost no one has the full skill set. a co-founder who complements your gaps massively increases your odds.
irl
I like being at home. I like my routine. I like cranking out 14 pomodoros a day.
but I’ve never once regretted a workaction.
the past three weeks I’ve been traveling. first visiting a friend in Korea who runs a business like mine, then meeting my Sales.co co-founder Ryan in Chiang Mai.
we had conversations and came up with ideas that just don’t happen over calls.
sign to do this: pick a place, text a few people “thinking about going to X, wanna join?” that’s usually all it takes.
